Glenwood R. Flickinger, 65, of Tulpehocken Twp., passed away in the morning hours, Tuesday, January 16, 2018, in St. Joseph Medical Center, with his family by his side. He was the husband of Rosemary A. (nee’ Unger) Flickinger. Born February 25, 1952, in West Reading, he was a son of the late Roy H. & Beulah C. (nee’ Sheidy) Flickinger. A 1970 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, Glenwood had worked at the former North American Refractories, and was later a truck driver for 30 years.  He was a member of the Womelsdorf Fire Company, and had been an active firefighter. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Jamie R. (Heather L.) Flickinger, Womelsdorf, and Tina L. (Jeff) Hable, Robesonia; his siblings: Terry L. Flickinger, Myerstown, Anne R. Flickinger, Womelsdorf, Yvonne M. Rentschler, Womelsdorf, Wanda A. Gerhart, Myerstown, and Tom D. Kellenberger, Robesonia; five grandchildren and two great grand daughters, also survive. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly Flickinger. Funeral Services from Trinity Evangelical Fellowship Church, 300 Lyman Ave., Womelsdorf, PA  19567 will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 19, 2018, from 6 – 8 pm, and Saturday, from 10 AM until time of service, at the church.  Burial in Womelsdorf Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions, in memory of Glenwood and his battle with pancreatic cancer, may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
