Nancy A. Schwartz, 79, of Womelsdorf, passed away in the morning hours Sunday, February 25, 2018, of natural causes in her residence. She was the widow of the late Donald R. Schwartz, who died March 15, 2016. Born February 26, 1938, in Millardsville, she was a daughter of the late Paul E. & Mary E. (nee’Auman) Spitler. A dedicated member of Zion United Church of Christ, Womelsdorf, she was also a member of the Womelsdorf Rod & Gun Club, the Womelsdorf VFW Ladies Aux., and was a life member of the Rescue Fire Company, Mt. Aetna. Nancy had worked for the former Gloray Knitting Mill, the former Valley Forge Flag Co, as an examiner and trimmer, and had last worked for Country Meadows as a personal care assistant until her retirement in 2003. She most recently worked as a crossing guard for the Conrad Weiser West Elementary School, Womelsdorf. She was predeceased by her siblings: Pearl E. Leininger, June E. Miller, and Janice J. Yiengst. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 1 PM from the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, with the Rev. Melissa A. Burkhart, officiating. Burial to follow in Zion Lutheran & Reformed Cemetery, Womelsdorf. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from Noon until time of service at the funeral home. www.mullfh.com
