Allan F. Miller, 94, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away in the afternoon hours Sunday, December 24, 2017, of natural causes in Manor Care, Laureldale. He was the husband of Erma H. (nee’ Angstadt) Miller. Born May 26, 1923, in Media, Delaware Co., PA, he was a son of the late Charles & Inez (nee’ Cheeseboro) Miller. A veteran of WWII and Korea, having served in the Army Air Corps and Airforce. He was the Vice President of Drug, Plastic, & Glass, Boyertown and after his retirement was the founder of Dove Plastics, Inc., Hamburg.  Allan was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Oley where he had served on consistory, and was a member of the Oley American Legion. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons: Steven (Stacie) Miller, and Douglas (Phyllis) Miller; his step children: Jeffrey (Cindy) Hoffman, and Karen (John) Ryan; his grandchildren: Kristi, Blake, Nichole, and Paige Miller; his step-grandchildren: Drew, Josh, and Sara Hoffman; and by a great-grandson: Caleb Miller-Dumin, son of Mark Dumin. Memorial services Friday, December 29, 2017, at 11 AM from Friedens UCC, 337 Main St., Oley, PA  19547, with the Rev. Melinda Angstadt, officiating.  Relatives and friends may call Friday, from 10 – 11 AM at the church.  A light lunch will be served following the service at the church including Al’s favorite, cookies and ice-cream. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church building fund at the above address.
