Doris A (Leininger) Holzman

Doris A. Holzman, 87, of Womelsdorf, passed away in the morning hours Saturday, January 19, 2019, of natural causes in Manor Care, Sinking Spring. She was the wife of Richard C. Holzman, to whom she married September 20, 1969. Born August 12, 1931, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late 
Daniel Y. & Laura (nee’ Wanner) Leininger. A 1949 graduate of Mt. Penn High School, she was a  member of Zion United Church of Christ, Womelsdorf, where she was the former treasurer & secretary.  She also had worked for the former Mt. Penn High School, as a secretary until 1958, and had worked in the personnel department of the former Western Electric until 1970. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Daniel R. (Candace) Holzman, Gilbertsville, and Linda G. (Michael) Palm, Wernersville; Five Grandchildren: Ryan & Brent Holzman, Lindsay, Rachel & Michael Palm; and by her sister: Janet Reitenauer, St. Lawrence. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at 11 AM at the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, with the Rev. Mary Etta Mest, officiating. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
