Jane P (Weaver) Moore

Jane P. Moore, 89, of Womelsdorf, passed away in the morning hours Sunday, September 9, 2018, of natural causes in the Reading Hospital. She was the widow of the late Richard T. Moore, who died February 12, 2010. Born July 16, 1929, is Seattle, Washington, she was the daughter of the late John & Hattie (nee’ Hertzog) Weaver. Jane was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Womelsdorf.  She was a life member of the Womelsdorf Volunteer Fire Company,  a member of the Womelsdorf Rod & Gun Club, and the Max Schaeffer post 6558 VFW, Womelsdorf. She was also the last full time clerk of the Womelsdorf Post Office. She is survived by her children: Susan J. (Mitch) Chelius, Womelsdorf, and Eric R. (Stephanie) Moore, Robesonia; and by her grandchildren: Morgan Siefert, Ross Chelius, Sydney Moore, Meredith Moore, and Tyler Moore. Memorial Services will be held Friday, September 14, 2018, at 11 AM, from the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, with the Rev. Mary Etta Mest, officiating. Burial in Pleasant View Cemetery will be private. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Womelsdorf Community Library, 203 W.
