Violet Amy  (nee’ Fidler) Aulenbach, 82, of Womelsdorf, passed away in the evening hours Wednesday, June 21, 2017, of natural causes in the Reading Hospital. Born August 1, 1934, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George S. & Edna M. (nee’ Marburger) Fidler. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Womelsdorf, however was attending Zion Lutheran Church, Womelsdorf with her companion Larry G. Spangler. Violet had worked for several retail outlets, first at Talbott’s and last for Wal-Mart. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother.  She was known and loved by her grandchildren as “Mimi” and “Gramma Vi.” Violet is survived by her children: Sherri L. (Anthony) Ochs, Narvon, Christy A. (Jerry) Vega, Sinking Spring, and Jason D. (Jessica) Aulenbach, Exeter; her grandchildren: Arias Ochs, Christian Vega, Gabriel Vega, Julian Aulenbach, and Kaylee Morrow; and by her brother: Robert E. (Peggy) Fidler, Myerstown. She was predeceased by her siblings: George H. Fidler and Barbara A. Fidler. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017, at 4 PM from Zion Lutheran Church, 300 W. High St., Womelsdorf, with Pastor Melissa A. Burkhart, officiating.  The family will greet relatives and friends FOLLOWING the service in the social hall of the church.  Interment will be private in Zion Lutheran & Reformed Cemetery, Womelsdorf. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
