Gene A. "Tuffy" Davis

Gene A. “Tuffy” Davis, age 88, of Robesonia passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Reading Hospital.

He was the loving husband of 34 years to Gloria J. (Bare) Davis.

Born in Bernville on September 13, 1933 a son of the late Charles and Ruth (Berns) Davis.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army.

Gene retired from CarTech in 1996 after 28 years of service.

He was a life-long member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two step-sons, Charles J. Albert III, and Jeffery S. Albert; and step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren; and two nephews and a niece.

He was predeceased by a step-grandchild, a step-great grandchild, and two brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Thomas Church, 536 N. Main St., Bernville, PA 19506.

Interment with military honors will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00am.

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
